Thank you for visiting my website!

I have been playing the violin since I was 2 years old as part of a musical family.  Both parents, both siblings, and myself have all become full-time professional musicians!

I recently moved to Plymouth, MN where I maintain a private violin studio and teach an average of 45 students per week.  Also, since moving to Minnesota I have performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the South Dakota Symphony, the Minnesota Opera Orchestra, and the Minnesota Sinfonia.

Previously, I lived in Colorado where I was the Assistant Concertmaster of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and also managed a private violin studio with an average of 20 students per week.

My goal as a teacher is to make learning how to play the violin fun for my students!  I currently teach private lessons at Eden Prairie High School and also out of my home in Plymouth.  I am licensed to teach by the Minnesota Department of Education for Pre-K to Adult students.  I have experience teaching students ages 6 and above and I am comfortable teaching in both the Suzuki and traditional styles.

Many of my students are active in the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS), the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS), and the Minnesota ALL-STATE Orchestra.

As a co-founding member of the Lake Minnetonka String Quartet I have worked with the orchestra programs in the Wayzata, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Robbinsdale, and St. Louis Park School Districts, in addition to the St. Paul Center for Performing Arts.

Also, as a member of the Minnesota Sinfonia I perform for 10,000-12,000 students each year as part of the “Music in the Schools” program in the inner-city schools of both Minneapolis and St. Paul.
